Some New Cards To Post

This is the start of my christmas card. Actually there's not much more I need to do to it, maybe add an element or two to make it really pop. I used Baja Breeze and Chocolate chip for the main colors with the Snow Jumbo wheel. I'm really in a Chocolate Chip phase. And I used the Crystal Effects mixed with Dazzling Diamonds for the icicles. The photo doesn't do them justice. It's really pretty.
This is card I made with the Bronc Buster set, I used Red Riding Hood and chocolate chip for the colors. Jumbo eyelets, I think they're retired now, maybe! Chocolate chip and white grosgrain ribbon. Really easy to do, I didn't think I'd like this set as much as I do!
This is a card I made awhile ago. Very simple, as you can see, but I love the effect. The set is Garden Whimsy. I just stamped the images in Versamark then took a cotton ball to the Stampin' Pastels and filled them in how I liked. I did accidentally smudge the saying, but overall I think it turned out okay for a one layer card.

Christmas Cards

Well, I'm working on my Christmas cards right now, and I'm having a blast. I chose to make them simple, hopefully beautifully simple. I think they are simple, yet still pretty. I'll post a picture as soon as I have them completely finished. I used Chocolate Chip and Baja Breeze, and I now have a favorite way to use Dazzling Diamonds glitter. I mixed it into the Crystal Effects and it turned out beautifully!

I feel ticked pink that my cards are actually almost finished. I just need some more ribbon to finish them off!

I added a link

Since I haven't gotten the time to upload new pictures over the last week or two I thought I'd write you a little post to let you be in on a blog that I like to visit occasionally. Shelli Gardiner is the founder of Stampin' Up!, and she started a new blog a few months ago. I love to go online and see what she's doing. Sometimes she has the greatest little projects online. Not only that, but usually she has step by step pictures that walk you through making the projects. So helpful!

If you get a few minutes check out her page. Little by little I'll add other blogs that I check out regularly for ideas. If you like to stamp check them out. And it's okay to case other people's projects. Most of us don't mind at all!

Okay, that being said, I'll post the link to her blog in my links, and here's her website in this post too.
